About ~ Auntie Dogma’s Garden Spot

I used to visit and revisit it a dozen times a day, and stand in deep contemplation over my vegetable progeny with a love that nobody could share or conceive of who had never taken part in the process of creation. It was one of the most bewitching sights in the world to observe a hill of beans thrusting aside the soil, or a rose of early peas just peeping forth sufficiently to trace a line of delicate green. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne, Mosses from and Old Manse

Hi there, auntie dogma; just found your peaceful site while purusing pansys via google. I am a gardenless gardner at present, having just sold my beautifully tended garden and home to home care my father in SoCal. Just letting u know I appreciate the breather here at your site.

    Dear “Auntie Dogma”
Searching for a beautiful photo of an Iris for my profile picture on FB I found yours. Before I realized I could google auntiedogma , I had already changed it, but changed the setting so only friends of friends can see it. DonΒ΄t know if it works with profile pictures. I felt t I wanted to change the French flag I had had previously – to show solidarity. But now an Iris – in a way the inspiration for the former emblem of France, the fleur de lys – felt more appropriate. Your picture was the most beautiful one among the countless on the net. Would you allow me to have it there for some time some time?
    With warm regards !
    Anna Paulina

Lovely site; thank you. Found proof of a Bitterroot flower just in gravel outside a store-front.
