kick your shoes off and come on in …

One for the CREATIVE MINDS & ENTHUSIASTS ….

I have made some crystalised Viola and Borage flowers. It’s very easy. Put some egg white on the flowers with a thin brush, and dip it in the sugar. Then dry them. That’s it.

They look very pretty eh ???…. Good on cakes or served to nibble on with tea.

How’s that for an Aussie Outback Redneck imagination ??  😀

  2. If you are an outback redneck, does that make me a backwater hillbilly?😉 Seriously, those flowers look amazing. I am going to pinch this idea with impunity and use it for my Christmas cake this year. How much prettier will it look with these instead of stiff white icing? You rule Mr F🙂

    • Oh yes, I AM PROUD to be part of the Outback Cowboys Club 😀 …If you do the same like I DID with flowers and decorations, You will impress the visitors and finally Earl will enjoy an natures way treat😀 ….I am already in trouble, I showed some to my neighbours wife’s and now they try to jump the fences night time coming for a cup of tea 😀 …Wowwww I need a dog soon…L.M.B.O.😀

      • I can loan you Earl. I am sure that they would think twice in jumping the fence then😉. I am going to use your idea and I pinned it on Pinterest as well so that everyone that sees it there can come on over and find out how to do it. A most excellent share and full of promise. I saw Mary Berry do it once with primroses but promptly forgot how to do it as I didn’t have any primroses. Cheers again for sharing🙂

Really enjoy your articles on your blog, not to be rude, but the yellow font text is almost impossible for me to read. I don’t know if it’s an issue for other readers, I do have some vision problems and very sure that attributes to it. The lettering blurs out for me on the white background. I will no doubt continue to follow your blog just hope I’m not missing any important details.
