      • I think I went overboard on the nitrogen this year so the “green” and fecund jungle that grew seems to be a bit light on actual “harvest” and unless pumpkin leaves have good recipes I think my actual harvest might not be huge as our tomatoes are only just starting to grow here. It has been a bad season for them along with a bad season for cherries apparently but apples are growing great guns, I have carrots! I never grew them before and various other things going mental so hopefully I can post a few “harvest shots” pretty soon 🙂

      • last year powdery mildew took out my pumpkins, zukes, and cukes (well i took out the plants before the issue spread). tomatoes out west made a great meal for the thumb size slugs lol … tomatoes and eggplant was really bumper crops last year and not enough to can all i wanted

      • I had a bit of powdery as well but it seems to be abating and I have mould ladybirds feeding off it so maybe they will eat it all? Our tomatoes are small and green at this last stage of the game but then most Tasmanians had no luck with them this year. I have carrots and maybe potatoes (haven’t checked yet a bit early) and lots of garlic chives. Looks like some sort of Asian stew to me! 😉
