kick your shoes off and come on in …

How to, REGROW almost everything.

Akka's Natures Way+living

Here’s an idea to stretch your grocery money and grow your own, organically. Re-growing veggies doesn’t cost a dime. It’s easy to cut off the bottom, re-root and grow your own lettuce, celery, green onions, bok choy, garlic, ginger, basil, potatoes & carrots. If you can think of another veggie to grow this way, please share. Let us know if you’ve tried this and how well it worked!

Cheers from an Old Fart

      • Thanks for coming by ” GLORIA JOHNNIE ” …Let me say this…First of all, you must go to the grocery shop, buy your regular greens and veggies, keep the end parts of the roots, ( Roots included if any, if not don’t worry it is still okay ), find some old glass jars, metal tins, buckets, cans or plastic bottles ( Cut the plastic top/s ), or any open container, etc etc, put some water in it ( About half to 2 thirds ) wrap your left over in cotton or paper towels, toilet paper, etc, soak them in the containers and WATCH THEM GROW BACK . 😀 . …When you will harvest everything in few months from the time you start it, comeback and let me know of your feelings of satisfaction & reward/s.
Cheers and best of luck…Get there and have some fun. 😀

  2. You can do the same thing by cutting your veggies off higher than the stump when you harvest them and let them keep growing on in the soil :). Cheers for the great share 🙂
