If we couldn’t protect it (and we can’t…) our “food not lawn” would be a complete and most epic fail because it would immediately become food for the native ferals that predate everything on a regular basis. It’s their very own pick-and-mix situation here on Serendipity Farm and besides…you couldn’t technically call what we have a “lawn”…that would be a stretch too far. Clover, mostly twitch, 99percent meadow might be more accurate with the predominate “grass” varietal being “weed” ๐Ÿ˜‰
