they are, and fall bloomers, my mums are doing pretty good π

I love Japanese anemones and they grow in difficult terrains however “something” loves them out there. One of the nocturnal natives eats them down to the ground. If they manage to hide in another plant as soon as they flower they are discovered and scoffed. Probably wallabies my guess.
