  1. Not applicable for us but I am currently deadheading everything that comes back (perennials etc.) and snipping up the debris as mulch on the garden. When you are a penniless student hippy, you have to think of “other ways” to get what you want… those snippings make great mulch and after deadheading the agapanthus down our driveway, I snipped up all of the flower stalks and put them around the new trees that we are planting. Why waste that free mulch? Just a bit of effort and you get what you want 🙂
