    • welcome, thank you …. nice to see you, hope spring is coming along for you. been swamped in anti war activism here 😦

      • Yay, yes spring is arriving.
Good on you, this is a terrible thing and I am pleased to see England has voted not to go….hopefully that should keep America out with no allies backing them.
Where abouts are you, I haven’t never been sure?

      • Ah ok. I would love to go to Italy!

It will be interesting to see how this plays out ay?!

      • interesting is good word
yes you are not missing much in Italy at present, many areas have been westernized. if you do go go to small farm communities versus regular touristi places. you have to go visit Bologna though, the food capital of Italy 🙂 miss it very much, but not the politics ….

      • It sounds like alot of countries (been westernised), I don’t think the western world is something that should be aspired to and it’s such a shame that countries lose their own culture and identity through doing this. Italy has always been a place I would love to go to for it’s old buildings, the food, the charm…..I guess things can’t stay the same way forever.

      • i know i am really longing for old ways with all this talk of war again, is hard not to cry, really sick of all this.

this too shall pass now would be good …

anyway Italy is still beautiful and rich in culture, like i said stick to rural farm communities away from big touristi attractions and it will be lovely. the italians will want to adopt you i guarantee lol

      • Being adopted by Italians from a rural community sounds good to me 🙂 🙂 They could feed up up on good wine, food and coffee and I would be a very good little pet kiwi!

I know….here’s hoping that lack of support from their usual allies causes them to rethink their actions. Our government is meeting to decide whether to offer “moral” support as requested.

Mind you, I would hate to think of Syria becoming another Rwanda or Nazi Germany – what’s happening there is shocking but I don’t know what the answers are there.

      • well without getting into political chatter too much, will just say bombing for peace is never a good idea … here’s hoping

        September 2, 2013 at 11:04 pm
