Beautiful ….Great choice for any part shade windows….Had one on my front of the house on bedroom window, which faces south west, and after 5 years I lost it..Since then, I planted 2 Camellias and doing great….Perhaps the hot afternoon western winds was not good for it….But, good news, I have one beauty surviving well on the Northern fence, meaning has sun part of the day, and shelter from hot western wind later in the day….Well, I think it has to do with being sheltered from my 2 sheds on the back of the northern side 😉

  2. The garden here is full of camellias and rhododendrons all growing despite getting no water at all for 20 years aside from rain. I have to say, the rhodo and azalea family are hardy buggers! I would have thought that they would be tender and delicate but they are true survivors. Love magnolias and Gardenias. I have a lovely magnolia that the possums seem to leave alone. A stellata, hopefully they aren’t just luring me into a false sense of happiness before they strike and break my horticultural spirit
